A traditional Walser house, lovingly preserved throughout the centuries, is now a historical B&B in one of Europe’s top ski resorts.



Seven rooms, each an expression of local tradition, reflected in the historical finishes and decoration - but each complete with an en-suite bathroom, and the latest modern amenities, including WiFi.



The Sandbur house (Sandbauer) was demolished in 1577 in Älpele and rebuilt in its current location in Lech; it is now one of a handful of rare, original Walser houses, lovingly preserved throughout time.



This traditional mountain village on the Austrian side of the border with Switzerland has not only managed to retain its alpine character, it has become one of the world’s foremost quality ski resorts.
